Simon has over 13 years experience in the Australian mining and exploration sector. His earlier career in the mining industry involved environmental management in open pit and underground mining operations. Simon has also been a director for a number of companies and Statutory Authorities in Australia over the past 20 years. He has spent 15 years as the CEO of various State and National organisations and has been responsible for policy development across a number of primary industry sectors. |

National Policy Manager – Graham ShortGraham Short has over 40 years experience in both the private and government sectors up to Chief Executive and Board level. His broad experience covers strategic planning; public policy setting and implementation; industry association management; advocacy and lobbying; natural resource management; resource access; native title; environmental protection; governance; financial management; taxation and regulation. Graham has a variety of qualifications and is a Certified Practising Accountant. |

Regional Manager, NSW / VIC / TAS – Bruce EdwardsBruce Edwards as Regional Manager for NSW, Victoria and Tasmania is responsible for servicing and growing AMEC’s member base in the region and assisting develop a national policy response that responds to the specific needs of the south-eastern states. Bruce has many years experience as an Australian equities fund manager and in the seed/venture capital field and has substantial capital raising and corporate advisory experience, locally and internationally. In addition Bruce has worked for a national economic research and policy think-tank and has recently completed a project in the Mineral Resources section of the NSW Governments Investment Attraction division. |

Regional Manager, QLD / NT - Ross MusgroveRoss Musgrove as Regional Manager for Queensland and the Northern Territory is responsible for servicing and growing AMEC’s member base in the region and assisting develop a national policy response that responds to the specific needs of the north-eastern states. Ross has worked at high levels in government and with member based organisations. He specialises in government relations, policy and specific issue advocacy. Prior to joining AMEC Ross had worked as an advisor and Chief of Staff to senior politicians and has the rare distinction of having been employed by both sides of politics at different stages of his career. |

Member Services & Business Development Executive - Marc RaysonMarc’s previous experience as a Business Development Officer within the resource industry has provided him with a solid foundation in identifying and ensuring business development opportunities are pursued and realised. Marc’s previous role included generating general and targeted promotional marketing activities in an effort to create brand awareness and assist in sourcing new business opportunities. His responsibilities also included the timely delivery of proposals and management of the Customer Relationship Management database. |

Senior Policy Officer - Justin FrommJustin brings to AMEC a wide range of industry policy, R&D, advocacy and representative experience and skills. As Senior Policy Officer, Justin will be responsible for developing and delivering strategies to bring about positive policy and regulatory change relating to the mining and minerals exploration sector. Prior to joining AMEC Justin was employed as a Policy Officer with the Australian Food and Grocery Council and previous to this he was CEO of the Canberra-based National Aquaculture Council. Justin has also held positions in a statutory authority and a Federal Government industry department. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Tasmania. |

National Events Manager – Denyse McClementsDenyse McClements has the role of organising events nationally for AMEC. These include the annual AMEC Convention, Investor Briefings and various member functions. Denyse spent 20 years working in the IT industry before making the change to Events Management. She has expertise in the coordination and management of all types of events from community concerts to conferences and seminars. Denyse has also worked for a major WA Charity, coordinating fund-raising events such as corporate golf days, lunches and competitions. Denyse has a background in marketing and selling projects and has a strong focus on Customer Relationship Management, establishing and maintaining professional business relationships with clients. Denyse has a Bachelor of Business from the Western Australia Institute of Technology (now Curtin University of Technology). |

Communications and Marketing Manager – Michelle ParkMichelle Park will be responsible for driving the communications and marketing strategy for AMEC nationally. Michelle brings 7 years of marketing and communications experience to the team, having worked both in Australia and the UK. Michelle has worked on a number of marketing and communications projects in her previous role as Marketing Advisor at AECOM and prior to that as Events Marketing Manager in London. |

Office Manager/Executive Assistant – Anne Marie DoigAnne Marie Doig is responsible for the overall office management, the bookkeeping function and providing executive assistance to the CEO. Luckily, she has a knack for organising and getting things done! Anne Marie had spent several years working in the Forestry sector as a Personal Assistant, organising conferences and training events, as well as managing a vast travel load. Prior to that she ran the administration of a small school during its start-up phase. Anne Marie is not new to the mining industry as her early years were spent in and around Kalgoorlie in various mining jobs from fieldwork to assay lab technician to accounts management. |
