Bronwyn Barnes

With more than 19 years in the resources sector Bronwyn has worked for companies ranging from BHP Billiton to emerging juniors in director, leadership and operational roles.  She has a passion for the industry and its relationships with the outside world, and an outstanding track record of ensuring effective corporate governance, winning government endorsement and approval, and driving equity for indigenous peoples. She has steered major projects from exploration to operation, and connected the WA resources sector with international mining investment.  Bronwyn was recently awarded the prestigious Outstanding Woman in Resources Award 2015 by the Western Australian Chamber of Minerals and Energy and the Exceptional Woman in Australian Resources Award 2015.

Bronwyn has extensive board experience in industries stretching beyond the resources sector that reflect her interests in corporate governance, indigenous affairs, education and political life.  She is currently Non-Executive Chair of Auris Minerals Ltd and Indiana Resources Ltd, a non-executive Director of MOD Resources Ltd, and a member of the Advisory Council for the Curtin University School of Business.
