Nominations are now open for the 2026 AMEC Awards.

The AMEC Awards recognise the people, teams and companies helping shape Australia’s mining and mineral exploration industry through discovery, innovation, collaboration, environmental leadership, and community or workforce impact.

Think your work could be award-worthy? Start with the Five Fact Challenge:

1. What challenge, opportunity or story was addressed?
2. What did your team do differently?
3. What measurable result was achieved?
4. Who benefited from the work?
5. Why does the achievement matter?

If you can answer these five questions, you likely have the foundations of a strong nomination.

Prospectors, explorers, producers, suppliers, contractors and project partners are encouraged to nominate their own work, or put forward someone whose contribution deserves industry recognition.

Nominations close Friday 18 September.
