EPBC reforms are due to take effect on 1 December 2026, with significant implications for mineral exploration, project development and operations.
AMEC plans to run a forum that will bring together federal, state and territory voices, industry representatives and technical experts to unpack what is changing, what assumptions sit behind the reforms, and what members should be thinking about before rollout.
